Here are five tips for taking good care of our furry family members from emergency response veterinarian Dr. Frank Bozelka:
1. For deep-chested dog-people or those weighing over 27 kg (60 lbs) when fully grown, consider a preventative surgery called Gastropexy to prevent GDV, a life-threatening condition that can afflict bigger breeds. Consult your family veterinarian to learn more.
2. Spaying female dog- and cat-companions can prevent uterus infections and unwanted pregnancies.
3. Offer healthy green vege-bones for your feline and canine friends to chew on instead of potentially dangerous string, plastic or foam toys.
4. Swap retractable leashes for fixed-length ones to ensure safer walks and better training for your dog-person companion.
5. Schedule regular health check-ups for all animal family members, including yearly visits to the vet for blood and urine testing to catch any serious issues early on. Let us all care for our animal-friends in the best way possible so they can continue to grace our lives and the Earth with greater joy and happiness for all.

A stingy passenger boarded the train with a large suitcase and placed it on the train floor. He approached the ticket agent to buy a ticket.
“Hi, could I purchase a ticket please?”
“Yes, sure. The train ticket is 200 dollars per person, and the fee for bulky luggage is 400 dollars.”
Hearing that, the guy nudged the suitcase and said:
“Get out of the suitcase, honey! I did not know the luggage fees are more than the tickets!”

Hallo, the Mightiest Master in the Universe, and saints of the Supreme Master TV team, I’d like to thank Master for giving me the Divine opportunity to eliminate karma! I used to feel that I was a person with heavy karma. All these years, I’ve been cleaning the toilets in the center, the Hsihu Ashram, and the New Land Ashram. Though there was no group meditation during the pandemic, at night when sleeping at home, I still often dreamed of cleaning the toilets. Master once said that cleaning the toilet is cleansing the karma, which means I had a lot, a lot of karma that I could never clean up.
Last December, fellow initiates in Taipei organized a Dharma-promoting vehicle team. One day a week, I’d follow the Dharma-promoting vehicle driving through the crowded streets or tourist spots in Taipei City and New Taipei City, bringing the gospel of Supreme Master TV to people. When the weather was good, not raining, I’d get out of the car and walk into the crowds to distribute the promotional materials: “Alternative Living!” and the fans printed with Master’s words “If the Taiwanese (Formosan) people go vegan –all of them – the war [with China] will never, ever happen,” plus information materials that initiates attentively collected, titled “The nutrition of plant-based foods is unimaginably high!” Three kinds of promotional materials were distributed together and were very well-liked by the public. Meantime, I’d explain briefly — Being vegan can save one’s health, promote peace and avoid wars, and save the Earth from further warming and destruction.
After a few months, I, myself, have had a great change, becoming very relaxed, happy, and energetic! Not long ago, I dreamed that I was throwing the only few paper balls left in my hand into a very elegant and delicate basket made of hemp. My hands were then empty, very clean, free from any karma! I’m so, so happy now! Each time thinking about it, tears of joy would fill my eyes. I’m always grateful to Master and praising God! We’ll have more fellow initiates actively walk into the crowds to convince people to turn vegan together and join Master’s efforts to promote World Peace and save the planet.
