When Lama Govinda met Domo Geshe Rinpoche, the lightest touch of Guru’s hands on his head, sent a stream of bliss through his whole being. Simply to be in His presence, was enough to solve all problems, just as darkness disappears in the presence of light. The Guru told him: “If you wish me to be your Guru, do not look upon my person as the Guru, because every human personality has its shortcomings, and so long as we are engaged in observing the imperfections of others, we deprive ourselves of the opportunities of learning from them.”
