Meanwhile, the International Association of Fire Fighters has decided not to endorse the Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election. It represents a significant shift from the union’s early endorsement of the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate in 2020. The International Brotherhood of Teamsters, a workers union that has backed the Democratic candidate in every presidential election since 1996, also declined to endorse the 2024 Democratic nominee.
