La vita del Signore Mahavira

Take a look into the candid conversations between Supreme Master Ching Hai and Her disciples, on subjects ranging from spirituality to daily life, as well as rare insights into other realms beyond Earth. We must open our hearts to all kinds of noble influence, all kinds of noble company; we must take advantage of this chance. If we still believe that to improve our purity, to improve our wisdom is the highest purpose of humanity, then we must make effort. ~ Supreme Master Ching Hai (Vegan) World-renowned Humanitarian, Artist, and Spiritual Master

The Life of Lord Mahavira: Last Calamity-Nails in the Ears, Part 3 of 3, Dec. 24, 2019

So that is the end of the story, and it’s the end of all the suffering that Lord Mahavira had to go through during His 12 years of ascetic meditation practice. We really salute Him and are grateful - to all that He had to endure for enlightenment, for the sake of others. “When the two examined Him, they found the tow thorns stuck in His ears.” Still there, He did not even remove

So, the Lord Mahavira mostly, He always stood. We read in this story that He was standing to meditate. The reason He did that was because He didn't want to fall asleep. Now, I'm reading something for you. This is the last calamity for Lord Mahavira, namely, “Nails in the Ears.” It's terrible. Imagine that? Be prepared. Otherwise, you might feel too shocked, and too painful, mentally. "

We’re human, it’s easier for us to take care of ourselves and to protect our physical wellness. Animals, they don’t have a chance. They just have their burrows, and they have their little leaves on top of them. Insects and all that, they have no way to build a lot of rooms and protective houses, so we’d better not disturb them too much. There are more people today. They sti

Except when you’re a Master, then it’s difficult. Everything you do, you have to do it for others’ sake. Just like Lord Mahavira had to starve for five months and a half almost, in order to help women to be liberated, I mean, to start a period of women’s liberation out of slavery, like the princess. It’s just a symbol. So, He broke His fast here, Lord Mahavira. &ldquo

He practiced for 12 years before He became completely enlightened and confident enough to teach other people. Right now, He’s still free and being tested, and chiseled, and trimmed, and cut, and fired, and drowned, and starved, ridiculed, and tortured, and everything – still continues. Yet, He’s in the process of getting ready to do a great job. A monk’s life, for example,

Similarly, most great persons in history have been going through a lot of tests, hammer, trimming, and unbearable situations. They have to bear the unbearable; they have to endure the unendurable. Many things like that. And then you are tamed, then you’re trimmed, you’re sculpted into a perfect shape inside that you’re ready to do a great job. Then you have no more attachment to

So, we should know by this example that real practitioners, they don’t really depend on anything in this world to survive. They just do it for the sake of others, for the sake of the world. For whatever it is, it’s not for their own benefit. Who is this person over there? It should be me. Why is it him? Just joking. Doesn’t matter. I don’t have that much ego. Just joking wi

I’m happy just to stay in any little cave or corner, anywhere, as long as I have somewhere to stay, so that I can work. Because when you work a lot, you don’t care about what you wear or not wear. I mostly just sleep on a sofa. I did not even have a bed. Many places I don’t have a bed. I have many houses because, before, I kept running around and every country I bought this and b

She saw that Baba Sawan Singh took her to see God, on the throne of God. And she was crying, crying. She said, “I never imagined, I never… All my life, I never imagined that I could even go near the throne of God and speak to Hirm like that.” This temple is not… it doesn’t look like a normal Buddhist temple. It’s just a building, a part of a building attached

The Lord Mahavira said, “‘I will accept alms for breaking my fast only from a princess that has become a slave.’” He announced like that, without anyone telling Him this story. Nobody knew that Chandana was a princess in any case. So, “Due to her sweet demeanor, Vasumati had a magical influence over the household. The fragrance of her poise and coolness of her nature i

Only if you don't remember anymore that you're man or woman or bisexual or lesbian or gay or transvestite or not transvestite, you transformed yourself. And then you really transcend all this, then you can become Buddha. Hallo. Is it too heavy? Tough guy. Now I know why there’re men in the world. They’re here to carry those, because you girls can’t do it. Hallo! (Hallo, Master.)

I don’t know if any man or any woman would do such expressive sympathy like that. Because the dogs, they do that. They do it with all their heart, you feel it. It’s not just the actions. It’s all their love put into that. “An orphan princess, sold as a slave, arrived at the house of merchant Dhanavah. But his wife…” Oh, man. You can tell the rest. I didn’

I don’t know if to you or anybody has any other experience, but for me, very good. So, I even wrote a poem for them. So, I told you the story already, right? You are a free individual, a child of God, a being from Heaven. You have to decide for yourself how enlightened you want to be, and how much you want to work for it, how much you want to remember your Great Self, instead of every day slaving, slaving for this physical world, and identifying your Greatness with this physical body. It's funny, my dog is better now even. Last night, two small dogs we

I know everything is illusion, for me; but for all the beings, they are not illusion. They are in true suffering, pain, sorrow, anguish, untold misery. And they came and ate, ate, ate a lot, and they left a lot, a lot of unwashed dishes everywhere. And I’d go wash them. Everybody OK? Thank you. Welcome. Be safe. Don’t laugh. This demon king, he saw that Lord Mahavira was the best suited person. So, this king of demons "immediately rushed to Sumsumarpur, where Mahavira was standing in meditation." "After bowing to Mahavira, he said, 'Bhante! I, king of demons, Chamarendra, am going to fight with Saudharmendra Sakra, please protect me.'"
