In Breakthrough Sermon, Bodhidharma said,” If you see the Buddha Light for just one split second, all your karma of past lives would be eliminated!” It’s the same when we get initiation. At the time of initiation, you see the Light and hear the Sound straight away. You are taught from inside. That’s why your karma of past lives could be eliminated immediately, and you would be liberated in one lifetime. That’s how you get immediate enlightenment.
