In today’s news, Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom unite to address malnutrition in Somalia, foreign pathogens destroying plants in Europe, enhanced desalination membrane created by Chinese and US researchers, Swiss petition urges end to painful animal-people testing in nation, graduating nursing student in United States receives welcome into profession from nurse who cared for her at birth, compostable shoe launched in Great Britain, and hundreds of endangered animal-citizens saved from wildlife traffickers in Thailand.

Hop to a better organized kitchen with this useful tip on using kraft paper bags for food storage in your refrigerator. These thick, brown paper bags are environmentally friendly, and can be recycled and reused. They help with food partitioning and take up less space than boxes and containers. They also help vegetables and fruit stay fresh, since paper bags absorb water. This will prevent items such as green leafy vegetables from getting soggy, or foods like fruit, broccoli, cauliflower, and root vegetables from drying out. Once the bags have become unusable, they can be composted in your garden too!

The good mood symposium is about to present the joke of the day. Let’s see how it rolls! It’s entitled “The Green Doctor.”

At the hospital:

“Dr. Alex, you are needed in the operating theater right now!”

“Please tell them to wait 30 minutes.”

“It’s a medical emergency, and the patient needs you. You have to come immediately!”

“I’m sorry, I need to make a cup of drip coffee first to stay awake after being on-call for 24 hours.”

“Why? You can just drink a sachet of instant coffee. It will take you just 2 minutes.”

“Sorry, I cannot do that. My mom says we need to save the environment and not use disposable items.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Lachlan in New Zealand:

I want to express my thanks to Vegan Mart in Busan, Korea for their fantastic meal and hospitality. Everywhere I went as a vegan travelling through Asia, I went out of my way to travel to the right places serving vegan food, and the effort was always worth it, thanks to places like Vegan Mart. Often in these places are humble people serving the food right out of their home, and you tend to connect with the food much more. Thank you to Vegan Mart and all vegan restaurants in Asia. Lachlan from New Zealand

Cheerful Lachlan, It was nice to read your heartline, and we are happy to learn that the vegan network is expanding in Asia. Glory to God for guiding us towards a brighter future. May you and picturesque New Zealand continue to follow the wise teachings of the Saints and Sages, Supreme Master TV team
