In today’s news, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai presents Shining World Compassion Award to animal sanctuary in California, United States, that rescues intensively-raised animal-people, oil spill in Peru following tsunami creates environmental disaster, government of Australia invests in solar technology for future, researchers in Israel find smoking while pregnant increases child’s risk of developing eye conditions later, young boys in Philadelphia, USA, help senior gentleman off bus, Danish vegan food brand produces dairy milk alternative with same nutrient profile as animal-based counterpart, and new app uses biometrics to return lost canine companion-people to their families.

In Shining World Compassion Award News from the United States…

Based on the principle of Ahimsa, or non-violence, compassionate Hindu couple Madhulika Singh and Mukul Banbihari founded the PreetiRang Sanctuary in California, USA, to rescue beings from the cruel animal-people raising industry, and provide them a safe, permanent refuge. In addition, tours and education presentations allow the public to interact with these intelligent, loving, and innocent furry and feathered friends. A film about the sanctuary by vegan filmmaker Tony Sehgal, was proclaimed the winner in the “Best Documentary Short” category for the Mountain View Film Festival 2021. The documentary is helping change people’s hearts and minds by leading them toward a noble way of living, and raising awareness of the environmental consequences of our dietary choices.

“My name is Madhulika Singh and this is my husband Mukul. Together, we take care of about 60 animals on a 40-acre (16-hectare) property in Dixon. We have goats, cows, lambs, and hens as well as roosters.”

Upon hearing about the loving work of this charity, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Joyfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to the PreetiRang Sanctuary along with a humble contribution of US$10,000 to support its benevolent work of promoting veganism to save our world, with all admiration, love, and gratitude. May God always bless you abundantly.”

Our Association members in California, USA, were delighted to present the Award Letter, crystalline plaque, Master’s financial contribution, as well as Her publications and DVDs to the sanctuary founders. The following is an excerpt from the letter.

“It is with great admiration and gratitude that we present to the PreetiRang Sanctuary the ‘Shining World Compassion Award’ for enriching lives through the practice of Karma Yoga. As devout Hindus with a profound understanding of Ahimsa, it was only natural to combine divine scripture with saving precious, innocent animal lives. We are honored to present this Award in recognition of your love and kindness, uplifting the community, advocating for the vegan way of life, and nurturing empathy for all beings. PreetiRang, named after Madhulika’s parents who empowered her with faith, loyalty and purpose, also means the color of love, an apt name for a haven created by two saints eager to express their thankfulness towards God. ‘Every life deserves the chance to express itself’ is the motto which defines the sanctuary, a place of healing, providing ‘a safe, secure, and loving home to farmed animals who are in danger of abuse and early death.’”

“Thank you very much. We are extremely grateful to Supreme Master Ching Hai for this letter. It’s very relevant for the times, and it’s profoundly meaningful because currently, the sustainability of Mother Nature and Mother Earth is seriously at-risk. Animal farming must stop, and slaughterhouses must be closed permanently. People have to become vegan. Veganism is the only way into the future. Supreme Master Ching Hai’s message makes this very clear.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to say namaste, and thank you to all of my global brothers and sisters who are on this path with us. Our efforts to improve compassion, kindness and bring a loving attitude to all beings on this planet transcend borders, languages, and countries. I am very happy to be on this path with you, and a very big thanks to Supreme Master Ching Hai for recognizing us. Thank You.”

Our sincere congratulations to Madhulika, Mukul, and all the dedicated staff and volunteers at the PreetiRang Sanctuary. Thank you for caring and courageously advocating for the innocent animal-people. May we soon live in a world where humans and our fun, loving, animal-person friends thrive in peace and harmony, in Heaven’s grace.

For the full presentation of the Shining World Compassion Award to PreetiRang Sanctuary, please tune in to our Shining World Awards program at a later date.

Environmental emergency declared in Peru after oil spill causes widespread damage.

An oil tanker unloading off the coast of Peru spilled about 11,900 barrels of crude oil into the ocean after being hit by a tsunami that originated from an undersea volcanic eruption near Tonga. The January spill contaminated 174 hectares of beaches, the sea and two natural conservation zones encompassing more than 18,000 square kilometers. The oil spread over 40 kilometers from the original point, causing countless bird- and other animal-people to lose their lives. The Peruvian government stated that it’s the worst environmental disaster in recent memory, with economic losses expected to be at least US$50 million. Cleanup crews from the oil company, and also the government, are working to restore the area. Such saddening news, Peru, on the devastation caused to your beautiful nation. We pray that the cleanup will soon be completed, and such disasters never occur again, in the generosity of the Providence. Vegan: 4 the love of the defenseless n innocent.

Up next, government of Australia invests in solar technology for future. We’ll now thank the riggers who assist in moving and relocating heavy equipment and cargo, and make sure these activities are done in a safe manner. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more valuable news.

Good day, radiant viewers! I’m William, a vegan chap from the White-Cheeked Spider Monkey kingdom. Your heart becomes kind and loving when you choose the wonderful vegan way. This is what I know to be true, and all my friends have experienced this too. Today, I would like to offer a tip on how to take off hard to remove stickers from metal surfaces. For a paper sticker, simply apply several drops of vegetable oil (olive, corn, or safflower) over it. Let the oil absorb for a couple hours to weaken the adhesive. On the other hand, you will need to try and remove or lightly score the top layer of a vinyl or metallic sticker first so the oil can saturate into the backing. You can use a safety razor blade, a fingernail or the edge of an old credit card to score the top layer. Be careful with a blade as it could scratch the metal! Then, warm the glue by using a handheld hairdryer set on medium to help release the sticky residue. Next, immerse an old, soft rag in a warm, soapy water mixture and dab at the sticker gently. Then use a rubber spatula or an old credit card to carefully remove the adhesive. Lastly, wipe off any sticker remnants and dry and buff the metal surface. Thank you for tuning in, and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now the weather around the globe!

Australia invests in ultra-low-cost solar.

The Australian government has allocated almost US$28.5 million to significantly reduce the cost of solar technology, lower emissions, and create more jobs in the near future. The funds will be invested though the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) into research and development for the Solar 30 30 30 initiative, which plans to achieve cell efficiency of 30%, at 30 Australian cents per installed watt, by 2030. The project will help to lower costs of other clean technologies including green hydrogen, which the nation is looking towards to help achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Australia is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Good Governance; as well as a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Caring, Good Governance, Health Guardian and High Moral Value. Way to go, Australian government, on your forward thinking plans to further advance renewable energy technology. In God’s immense kindness, may the governments of the world utilize all available methods to help save our planet, including supporting green endeavors.

Israeli researchers find smoking while pregnant increases child’s eye complication risk.

A study by the Soroka Medical Center and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel recently found that women who smoke while pregnant substantially heighten the chance of their child having eye problems later in life. The study was based on almost 250,000 deliveries, of which of which 1.2% were children of mothers who smoked while pregnant. It was found that hospitalizations for ocular disease from birth up to the age of 18 were 40% higher for those infants whose mothers smoked during pregnancy. This adds to a growing amount of evidence demonstrating the risks of smoking while expecting. Many thanks, Soroka Medical Center and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, for this research highlighting the dangers of cigarette use while pregnant. In Divine wisdom, may all mothers take excellent care of their health, and that of the child inside them, by ceasing the consumption of all meat, poisons and intoxicants, so both may live long and health-filled lives.

Video of boys’ act of kindness to senior gentleman in United States goes viral.

A clip on the social media platform TikTok shows three boys helping an older gentleman off a public bus and to his walker in the city of Philadelphia. Richard Allen saw the benevolent deed and filmed it for other youngsters to see and learn from. Mr. Allen felt so moved, he decided to stop the boys and offered them money for their caring actions. While showing his appreciation to the young gentlemen, he said, “That was a good thing you just did. Don’t stop doing that.” The video has touched many hearts and has been viewed over 1.5 million times on the platform. Our smiling gratitude, young gentlemen, for aiding a respected senior, and our appreciation, Richard Allen, for shining light on the example. We pray more random acts of kindness like this are replicated all over the world, in Celestial oneness. Making war? Oh, don’t worry. U’ll not b lost on the highway 2 hell, cuz the devils will b lining up 2 greet u n bring u there.

Coming up, Danish vegan food brand produces dairy milk alternative with same nutrient profile as animal-based counterpart. Now we are going to take a moment to send gratitude to the majestic Sun for unconditionally sharing its bright rays with all. We’ll be right back with more enriching news here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Informative News for a Progressive World.

Plant-based milk launched with identical nutrient content as conventional skimmed milk.

Danish vegan brand Naturli’ recently developed Do Not! Call Me M_lk, a plant-based alternative drink, which is likely the first on the market to contain the same nutrient content as cow-people’s skimmed milk. Made with a unique blend of soy, oats, rice and almonds, the all-new vegan milk has the same levels of calcium, protein, vitamins B2, B12, and D, when compared to dairy milk, and half the carbon footprint. Do Not! Call Me M_lk will be distributed in over 20 countries. Since 1988, Naturli’ has been offering a wide range of vegan products ranging from drinks, breakfast items and plant-based foods for all to enjoy. Our hearty applause, Naturli’, for your awesome vegan milk that is nutritious, flavorful and planet-friendly. May all people soon transition to the benevolent plant-based diet to restore the balance between nature and humans, in Heaven’s guiding light.

Awesome app uses biometrics to reunite lost dog-people with their families.

A new smartphone app called Smart Snout connects missing dog-people with their caregivers by using their unique “nose-prints.” It works by the subscriber uploading a picture of their beloved companion’s nose, which, much like a fingerprint, allows for individual identification. In the case of a lost dog-person, the app user changes his or her status from “okay” to “missing.” If someone with the app finds a dog-person, they can scan his or her nose with their smartphone. The human caregiver and finder are then alerted to the canine-person’s identity so that arrangements can be made for them to return safely home. Created by dog-person trainer Bradley Watson of the United Kingdom, the technology is less invasive than microchipping, and dependable as the biometrics of the dog-person’s nose remain constant over their lifetime. What a great idea! Many thanks, Bradley Watson and collaborators, for this ingenious way of reuniting lost canine companions with their grateful human friends, in God’s magnanimous Love.

It’s time to let some joy waves into our day with the joke we have selected. It’s called “Small Talk.”

Luke went to the barber to finally cut his very long hair. To break the awkward silence, the barber asked Luke:

“So, what do you do for a living?”

“I’m an engineer.”

To avoid more silence, Luke then decided to continue the conversation:

“And how about you?”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Elena in Madrid, Spain:

Dear Supreme Master Ching Hai, In these final times, I only can say, “Thank You, Master.” I was lost in this world of shadows, but You found me, and everything changed for me. I’m not afraid now, because You are with me. I couldn’t see the sense of this life till I saw You, and then I understood the meaning of and the reason for all my sins and karma. Thank You, Master, now and forever. Elena from Madrid, Spain

Angelic Elena, We couldn’t be happier to see you have found the Ultimate Master to help guide you on the path of liberation and free you from the entanglements of this ephemeral world. May your journey Home be smooth sailing, in Heavens’ brilliant Light.

We are delighted to forward Master’s reply to you: “Enlightened Elena, you are very welcome, my love! Just continue finding your Great Self, and everything will change for the better. Remember, God is the Light that can dissipate the darkness. In God’s upliftment, may you and the jubilant people of Spain be blessed forevermore.”

“One is not great because one defeats or harms other living beings. One is called great because one refrains from defeating or harming other living beings. ~ Dhammapada Sutra (Buddhism)
