From the Holy Qur’an: Surah 75 & 76, Part 2 of 2

Surah 75: Qiyāmat, or the Resurrection Section 1 “Does man think that We Cannot assemble his bones? Nay, We are able to put Together in perfect order The very tips of his fingers. But man wishes to do Wrong (even) in the time In front of him. He questions: ‘When Is the Day of Resurrection?’ At length, when The Sight is dazed, And the moon is Buried in darkness. And the sun and moon Are joined together, That Day, will Man say: ‘Where is the refuge?’ By no means! No place of safety! Before thy Lord (alone), That Day will be The place of rest. That Day will Man Be told (all) that he Put forward, and all That he put back. Nay, man will be Evidence against himself, Even though he were To put up his excuses.”

Surah 76: Dahr, or Time, or Insān, or Man. Section 1 “We showed him the Way: Whether he be grateful Or ungrateful (rests On his will). For the Rejecters We have prepared Chains, Yokes, and A Blazing Fire. As to the Righteous, They shall drink Of a Cup (of [Refreshment]) Mixed with Kāfūr, [NFT: camphor], A Fountain where The Devotees of God Do drink, making it Flow in unstinted abundance. They perform (their) vows, And they fear a Day Whose evil flies far and wide. And they feed, for the love Of God, the indigent, The orphan, and the captive, (Saying), ‘We feed you For the sake of God alone: No reward do we desire From you, nor thanks. We only fear a Day Of distressful Wrath From the side of our Lord.’ But God will deliver Them from the evil Of that Day, and will Shed over them a Light Of Beauty and A (blissful) Joy.”
