We will present to you some of the engrossing writings by the Swedish philosophical and scientific figure Swedenborg. Emanuel Swedenborg, wrote voluminously in interpreting the Scriptures as the immediate word of God. At the age of 53, he entered into a spiritual phase. The mystic wrote about his realizations in “Secrets of Heaven” and “Divine Love and Wisdom,” as follows: “There are two things which constitute the essence of God - love and wisdom.”“Love, which is the life of the will, constitutes the whole life of man.” “The Lord is the source (a quo=from which).” “Faith is nothing else than truth.”
