Getting adequate, good sleep is important for your body and health and shouldn’t be overlooked. Studies show if you are able to stick to the following habits, you will increase your chance of living longer. Firstly, you are recommended to get at least seven to eight hours of sleep every night without taking any sleep medication. You should not experience any difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep greater than two times weekly. You should also feel well rested after waking up at least five days each week. The key is getting into these good sleeping habits early on in your life to positively impact your overall long-term health.
