The City of Edinburgh Council has voted to adopt the Plant Based Treaty that addresses the climate crisis by promoting vegan food. The city will encourage plant-based menus in schools, hospitals, and nursing homes instead of animal-people meat and dairy products. The landmark decision followed a council report urging a reduction of animal product consumption to achieve climate targets.

Since its launch in 2021, the international Plant Based Treaty campaign has rapidly gathered momentum and is now supported by tens of thousands of individuals, over 2,000 businesses and organizations and 20 cities.

Way to go, Edinburgh Council, for endorsing this treaty for the future of your intelligent co-citizens. In God’s Loving Support, may your noble example help inspire all governments to quickly enact Vegan Law, the only way to save our world.
