In case you’re not aware, June 1 is International Children’s Day, declared almost a century ago during the World Conference on Child Welfare in Geneva, Switzerland. Since then it’s been celebrated by many countries around the world. Though not all nations celebrate Children’s Day on the same day, most have a national day that’s dedicated to us youngsters, recognizing the importance of loving and protecting children.What can I say? We kids are just irresistibly adorable! For one thing, have you ever heard a baby laugh or giggle? I challenge you to keep a straight face when you hear these “celestial sounds!”
