Philippine city to build new modern animal-people care facility.

The city of San Juan in the Philippines has begun construction of an animal-persons care center that will increase the city’s ability to deliver critical services, such as veterinary care, humane shelter, and rescues, to those in need. The three-storey high flood-resistant building will feature a dog-folk park for socialization and exercise, a clinic, a surgery room, separate areas for dog- and cat-individuals, a kitchen, a staff storage area, and more.
